‘I knew Bayern were a top team before I signed here. Missing out on the trophy last year was difficult. It’s difficult for everyone,’ Davis admitted.
‘I think this is the first time most people have experienced this. This year we are more hungry than ever. We know we can’t take anyone for granted. Last year showed that. Every game is important. ‘Of course one thing I told him was my defense. Of course I’m not a defender and I’m still learning the role after all these years. He came with a defensive mindset and he really worked with defenders.’
‘The team is playing very well at the moment. His arrival is a good move for us and he comes with the idea of winning trophies. We have the same idea.’
